Abstract

In the present case, a 10 year old Labrador dog was presented to the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana for post mortem. Necropsy revealed the presence of a solid growth at right inguinal gland. Cytology from the masses of mammary gland revealed the presence of population of neoplastic epithelial cells. Histopathologically, the mammary mass was diagnosed as carcinosarcoma admixed with bony metaplasia and extensive fibroplasia. Metastasis of the malignant epithelial cells was also observed in lung, kidney, heart, inguinal lymph node.
