Abstract

Yellow grub disease in fish caused by Clinostomum species globally. It has a complex life cycle and having wider host range wherein fish act as secondary host. In this study, a parasitological investigation have done on fish from the Kararia wetland. Trematode parasite was recorded from T. fasciata. The parasite identified based on the morphological and morphometric analyses as Clinostomum spp. belonging to the family Clinostomatidae. The incidence of Clinostomum infestation is first report from Kararia wetland.
