Abstract

Roadmaps prioritize the developmental work with realistic targets and provide guidance to achieve the goals. Road maps also clearly depicts the priority action to be taken for immediate, medium term and long term basis alongwith milestones to track the progress to achieve the goal. Sustainable development requires the initiatives in right direction at right time with most
appropriate technology available. Right direction can be derived from the proper planning taking into account all the area's contribution for the development and ways to implement the strategies and the times line with
indicator of the development can be workedout with a road map. For increasing the sustainable fish production along with infrastructural and human resources development besides doubling the farmers income in the state of Odisha is presented in this paper.
