Abstract

Lethal toxicity of mercury on different developmental stages of Cirrhina
. mrigala studied by static bioassay shows that the mrigal embryos have a lOh-LC.jo
of 0.17 ppm, whereas hactlings and 3-day-oId fry have 48h-LCjo values respectively
of 0.21 and 0.16 ppm. Two-month-old fry proved to be more sensitive than
the earlier developmental stages
