Treatment of different combinations (dates of sowing + doses of jute of fertilizer + seed treatments) were evaluated to assess its effect on incidence of stem rot and root rot diseases during the year 2012-13 and 2013-14. Among these combinations, D2F2P2 was found highly significant in terms of stem rot and root rot diseases incidence and these were only 2.40% and 2.70% respectively during the year 2012-13. Moreover, there was also better effect on yield components viz., plant height (295.0 cm), basal diameter (1.48 cm) and fibre yield (23.08 q/ha). Similar results were obseverd during the year 2013-14. It could be integrated for farmers practices.Downloads
