Highest mean grain yield of 80.2 qha-1 was recorded when single spray of Nativo (Trifloxystrobin 25% plus Tebuconazole 50%) @ 0.4 g/l of water at 100 % panicle emergence (PE) stage was given. This treatment also recorded increase in grain yield over control of 26.2%, false smut infected panicles/ m2 of 7.7% and infected spikelets/ panicle of 8.9%. This treatment was at par with the plots treated with single spray of Nativo (@ 0.4g/ lit of water) at 50 % PE stage, which recorded mean grain yield of 79.3 qha-1, 24.7% more grain yield over control, false smut infected panicles/m2 of 9.5% and infected spikelets/ panicle of 8.0%. Although, the control plots recorded grain yield of 63.6 qha-1, false smut infected panicles/m2 of 23.7% and infected spikelets/panicle of 18.0%.Downloads
