Abstract
The feed preference of the larvae of estuarine edible portunid crab Thalamita crenata was studied by feeding six different live feeds like Skeletonema sp., Chaetoceros sp.,Artemia nauplii and rotifer individually and in combination. Zoea I, II and III showed significantly higher survival rate than other stages. High survival was obtained with the combination of Artemia nauplii and rotifer (Brachionus plicatilis) but larvae fed with Chaetoceros sp. resulted in high mortality. The results are discussed in the light of previous studyDownloads
