The present study deals with seasonal variation in the biomass dynamics of different plant compartments of Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh during the year 2018. Six different sites were selected which is situated in different latitude and longitude. The altitude of the six study sites ranged between 2550-3350 m above msl. The study was carried out summer season in May, rainy season in August and winter season in November. In the present study, the aboveground biomass & belowground biomass of all the six study sites were recorded maximum in rainy season & minimum was recorded in the winter season while the standing dead vegetation & litter biomass of all the six study sites were recorded maximum in winter season & minimum was recorded in the rainy season during the year.
