The present study aimed to assess comparative productivity and profitability of mung bean grown under organic and/or chemical modules in rainfed and irrigated situations. The field trials were carried out in split plot design at Agriculture University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan during kharif 2019 and 2020. The pooled analysis of the two years data showed that the combination of organic and chemical management practices produced 56, 25 and 19% higher grain yield over control, organic farming practice and chemical farming practice, respectively leading to higher net return by 64, 23 and 27% over control, organic farming practice and chemical farming practice, respectively with a BC ratio of 6.4. The study suggests that this module should be followed for higher productivity and profitability of mung bean under western Rajasthan conditions.
