Abstract

The present investigations on breeding activity of Tatera indica were carried out in and around Hisar. Maximum testicular activity was seen in the months of January and February when the diameter of the seminiferous tubules and the testes was maximum and histology revealed all the stages of spermatogenesis. The size of ovaries was also large in January and February with a less number of developing follicles whereas ther was an increased number of developed follicles with ova during these months.
