Droughts, Aridity and Desertification in the Indian Sub-continent

Abstract
An attempt has been made to gather the information on dry season, aridity, desertification and drought related problems in the Indian sub-continent. TIle spatial complexity and the temporal variability have been briefly reviewed. Distinction has been maintained between climatic droughts and man-induced magnification of water shortage through faulty land use.Downloads
