Abstract
Attempts have been made to augment and characterise the exotic germplasm of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) under rainfed conditions. Large variability was recorded in various parameters. Few accessions. with desirable traits of early maturity.bold seeds and high yield have been identified.
