Abstract

Skill development is one of the parameters for enhancing the job performance of the workforce for achieving the desired organizational outputs. This study measures the impact of the PGDIF&AM program on trainee’s job performance. The research highlights key demographic characteristics, educational backgrounds, work experience, and geographical distribution of trainees and non-trainees. Additionally, it evaluates job performance across dimensions of task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance, shedding light on the impact of the PGDIF&AM course. In terms of job performance, the PGDIF&AM program significantly enhances task performance for trainees, with over half of them achieving a high level. However, contextual and adaptive performance levels remain relatively low, with limited improvement observed due to the PGDIF&AM course. Overall, this study underscores the need for tailored interventions to enhance contextual and adaptive performance among trainees and non-trainees.
