Abstract

In present paper, an attempt has been made to develop calibration estimators of population mean in two-stage stratified random sampling when the
auxiliary information is available at element (secondary stage unit) level for the entire population by calibrating integrated design weight. Some
simulation studies with real data have been conducted to examine the relative performance of the estimators over the usual estimator of the population
mean without using auxiliary information in two-stage stratified random sampling. It has been found from the results of the simulation studies that
there has been significant improvement in precision of the estimate by using proposed calibration estimators.
