Abstract

As per the recent report of the Global Hunger Index (GHI), India falls into the serious category. GHI uses the composite index of four indicators, 
namely undernourishment, child stunting, child wasting, and Under-five Mortality Rate. Hence, it becomes imperative to understand these four 
dimensions that are closely related to health and nutrition. The present study uses a quantitative approach for a deeper understanding of the research 
impact of India with Globe in the field of Health and Nutrition. While assessing the impact, we relied on the top 100 cited papers in the field, and 
applied prompt-based theme clustering to reveal the domains of primary and secondary features. Our analysis provides the demonstrative evidence 
that the level of evidence and ratings of studies in health and nutrition from India resonate well with the global standards. A set of five and twelve 
themes emerged from the analysis, respectively for the Globe and India across four population settings. More such studies are required to explore the 
unexplored terrain in health and nutrition, especially the cognitive and social determinants.
