Abstract

The aim of this study is to propose three novel generalized classes of estimators under probability proportional to size
Employing a first-order approximation (
), the expressions for the bias and mean squared error (
sampling scheme.
) are derived. Actual dataset is used in the
quantitative assessment to evaluate the competency of the new proposed class of estimators. From the outcome of numerical study, it is advocated that
the proposed estimators gives the least
and utmost precent relative efficiency (PRE) relative to other estimators
