Crop grown in medium annual rainfall ranging from 665-1495 mm produced high seed yield while lower and higher rainfall yielded low seed yield. Oil content in seed did not differ with low, medium and high amount of rainfall conditions. Medium rainfall in medium time duration is most favorable for niger production while heavy rains in long period is unfavorable.
