Abstract

Cultural characteristics of Lentinus connatus Berk. were investigated in various solid and liquid media. Among different solid media Yeast Extract Agar medium and amongst the different liquid media Glucose Peptone Medium supported the best vegetative growth. Among the wheat straw, paddy straw and saw dust utilized, wheat straw produced fruit bodies whereas other two substrates did not produced any fruit bodies.
