Effect of bio-fertilizers, supplements and vent tubes on yield of Pleurotus citrinopileatus
150 / 34
Abstract
The study was conducted to investigate the effect of various growth influencing factors viz., bio-fertilizers (Azospirillum, Rhizobium), substrate supplements (rice, wheat, pearl millet, tapioca, horse gram and black gram flour and rice bran) and vent tubes (15 mm and 20 mm dia PVC pipe with 16-20 holes) on growth and yield of oyster mushroom. Bio-fertilizers (12.0 g/bed), rice bran and PVC pipe (20 mm dia) with 16 holes resulted in higher biological efficiency, more sporophore weight and less spawn run time than other treatments.Downloads
