Abstract

Four species of agarics viz., Gymnopilus arenicola Hesler, Lepiota glabridisca Sundb., Coprinopsis marcida  (Bogart) Redhead, Vilgalys & Moncalvo  and Coprinus trisporus Kemp & Watling are described, illustrated and discussed. All these constitute new records for India.
