Food and feeding habits of Channa species from East Godavari District (Andhra Pradesh)
Abstract
A comparative study on the food and feeding habits of three Channa speciesfrom different ponds, tanks and canals of Kothapeta mandal revealed that thefeeding habits of Channa orientalis are different from that of C. punctatusand C. striatus. The preferential feeding habits of the three species have beenhighlighted. The relation between different maturity stages and feedingintensity is also presented.Downloads
