Abstract

Hydraulic conductivity and related soil properties under different types of land use were studied. Hydraulic conductivity was highest in the soil under grass cover and lowest in uncultivated soil, and was found in descending order as grassland forest application maize inter cropping maize cultivated fallow uncultivated soil. Hydraulic conductivity was found to be closely related to physical characteristics of soil.
