Abstract

The daily rainfall data for 18 years from 1961 to 1978 recorded at the Regional Research Station, Raichur, were analysed and subjected to 'R' factor test for normalcy/adoptability. It was found from the 'R' factor test that the minimum years of record required is 13.6 or 14 years.
