Abstract

A field experiment was conducted in kharif seasons of 200 I, 2002 and 2003 at the Main Pulses Research Station, Gujarat Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar, to study efficacy of integrated weed management practices in clusterbean under rain fed conditions. The highest dry weed weight was recorded in weedy check treatment, whereas the lowest was recorded in weed-free treatment. It was observed that seed yield and yield attributes recorded under weed-free check (2 IC + 2 HW at 30 and 45 DAS) were at par with trifluralin 0.50 kg ha,l + interculturing (IC) at 30 DAS, pendimethalin 0.50 kg ha'l + IC and oxadiazon 0.25 kg ha'l + IC and oxadiazon 0.50 kg ha'l were significantly superior to rest of the treatments. Application of trifluralin 0.5 kg ha'i + IC at 30 DAS recorded the highest net return and BC ration followed by weed free, oxidiazon 0.25 kg ha'l + IC and pendimethalin 0.50 kg ha,l + IC.
