Cucurbits are the major part of summer vegetables of Indian food. Insect pests cause great hurdle in its high yield production. Present experiment was conducted at Entomological Research farm, PAU during 2017 and 2018, to screen out effective insecticide i.e Belt expert 480SC (flubendiamide 19.92% + thiacloprid 19.92% SC) against thrips and fruit fly in cucumber to manage these insects that cause great loss to the farmers. Results revealed that Belt expert 480SC @ 200 and 250 ml/ha are effective in controlling both insect pests (thrips and fruit fly) at same time.
