A field experiment was conducted to determine bio-efficacy of insecticides against mealybug, Ferrisia virgata on Balanagar variety of custard apple at Horticulture Research Farm, College of Horticulture, AAU, Anand. The result revealed that among the nine tested insecticides treatment buprofezin + acephate 0.125 per cent and thiamethoxam + lambda-cyhalothrin 0.0084% per cent were found most effectiveagainst mealybug. Treatment of profenophos 0.05 per cent was found as next best treatment in reducing of mealybug population. Acephate + imidacloprid 0.1 per cent, thiamethoxam 0.01 per cent, buprofezin 0.05 per cent and ethiprole + imidacloprid 0.02 per cent were found moderately effective, while thiacloprid 0.05 per cent and diafenthiuron 0.06 per cent were found least effective.
