Abstract

Cotton is a major cash crop of India. It is grown in varied agro-climatic situations across nine major states viz. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
