Abstract

Physiological value and vegetative growing period are common concepts in farming industry, however they are lacking in the industry of edible fungi culturing. As a result, what the article wants is to bring these concepts to edible fungi culturing science by establishing a method to measure their physiological value and vegetative growing period. To achieve it, an ideal model of edible culturing bag which contains the nutrition unit was established, a modified function of logistic curve was used to simulate models’ essence of mathematic, and an experiment of culturing edible fungal in different length of bags was designed to harvest the data for solve the functions, at the same time, pieces of code with Mat lab language were written for calculating them. With the functions, we can calculate the physiological value and the vegetative growing period under different circumstances.
