Records of some mymaridae and encyrtidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) from Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

Survey conducted to collect mymarid and encyrtid parasitoids from different ecosystems using four collection methods (host rearing, net sweep, yellow pan trap and Malaise trap) from East and West Godawari, Hyderabad, Guntur, and Prakasam
districts of Andhra Pradesh during March, 2010 to April 2011 revealed that three genera and six species of mymarids and 11 genera and 16 species of encyrtids are new distributional records for this state.
