Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi 2016-2017 at CSAUAT, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh to evaluate the effect of nutrient management and growth regulators on yield attributes and yield of wheat. The experiment comprised of 16 treatment combinations and layout in split plot design in main plot 4 treatments viz., F0 (without application of nutrients), F1100% RDF (150:60:40 kg NPK/ ha), F2 150% RDF (225:90:60 kg NPK/ha) and F3 150% RDF+FYM (225:90:60 kg NPK/ha + 15 t FYM/ ha) and in sub-plots 3 treatments viz., G0 (without application of growth regulators), G1 (Lihocin 0.2%), G2 (Tebuconazole 0.1%) and G3 (Lihocin 0.2% + Tebuconazole 0.1%) with three replications. The result showed that among the different nutrient management levels, application of 150% RDF + 15 t FYM/ha gave significantly higher yield attributes and yield compared to control. Among the different growth regulators treatments application of Lihocin + Tebuconazole gave significantly higher yield attributes and yield compare to without application of growth regulators. Combined application of 150% RDF + 15 t FYM/ha with Lihocin + Tebuconazole gave significantly higher seed yield of wheat.
