A field experiment entitled "Effect of panchgavya on growth, yield and quality of mothbean [Vigna aconitifolia (Jacq.) Marechal]" was conducted at Agronomy Farm, S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner (Rajasthan) during kharif 2019. The experiment was conducted in randomized block design with three replications and assigning 10 treatments consisting of control and three levels of panchagvya with stage of application (panchgavya 2.5% at 20 DAS, 35 DAS and 20 DAS + 35 DAS, panchgavya 5% at 20 DAS, 35 DAS and 20 DAS + 35 DAS, panchgavya 7.5% at 20 DAS, 35 DAS and 20 DAS + 35 DAS) as growth promoter. A significant increase in growth parameters viz., total number of root nodules (14.65), dry weight (151 mg/plant) and fresh weight (73.23 mg/plant) of root nodules at 40 DAS, were recorded under the application of panchgavya 5% at 20 DAS + 35 DAS over control, panchgavya 7.5%, panchgavya 2.5%. Similarly, the yield and quality parameters like seed yield (919 kg/ha), straw yield (2108 kg/ha) and phosphorus content in seed (0.53%), straw (0.29%) and their total uptake (10.87 kg/ha) were also higher under the application of panchgavya 5% at 20 DAS + 35 DAS.
