Abstract

An experiment was conducted during rabi season of 2010-11 at the College Farm, Navsari Agricultural
University, Navsari. The results revealed that higher values of all the growth and yield attributing
characters ultimately resulting in the highest grain yield (2.15 t/ha) and stover yield (2.80 t/ha)
under HW at 20, 40, 60 DAS. Among herbicidal treatment maximum yield, net realization was
found in oxyfluorfen 0.120 kg/ha (PE) + quizalofop ethyl 0.040 kg/ha at 35 DAS (POE). However,
test weight was not significantly influenced by various weed control treatments, the highest net
returns of ` 49056/ha with B: C ratio of 3.91.
