Author Biography

  • KALA SAMADHARMAM, Senior Scientist (Forestry), ICAR-IISWC-RC, Kota-Rajasthan
    Dr.S.KALA is presently working as a Scientist (Forestry) at ICAR – Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Research centre, Kota (Rajasthan). I was born in 1982. I have completed Ph.D (Forestry) at Forest College and Research Institute (Tamil Nadu Agricultural University), Mettupalyam in Tamil Nadu with brilliant academic records.  I joined in ICAR in November, 2009 and she has eight year of experience in research, training and extension in the field of natural resource management (NRM). I have been actively engaged in research and development activities involved in NRM based programmes for effective utilization of ravine lands in India. Published more than 30 research papers in the reputed journals of National and International level. She has published more 15 book chapters, one books and bulletin exclusively from my research findings and experiences in the field of forestry and agroforestry sciences.
