Abstract
Exposure for 30 days to 100 ppb of Cadium chloride induced in freshwaterpv?c*in,Macrobrachium idae, several cytopathological effects both in gills
and in ovaries. Gonotoxicity is presumed from the decreased number of oocytes
that were noticed in the cadmium-exposed prawns.
