AIR/OXYGEN BUBBLING UNIT FOR AERATING WATER MEDIA IN LARGE-SCALE AQUACULTURE EXPERIMENTS
95 / 58
Abstract
Aerator stones, which are generally used for aeration purposes in thelaboratory, are not suitable when air or oxygen is to be supplied under pressure
to large-scale culture media. Baldwin (1970) has however given an account of
an oxygen bubbling unit which he had developed for supplying oxygen in fishbait
wells in tuna fishing boats, but without giving the technical details or specifications
of the gadget.
