Abstract

Boleophthalmus bpddarti, besides swimming, displays four modes of
locomotion, viz., crutching, skipping, skimming and climbing. Locomotion by
crutching is to acquire fixxl, skipping and skimming to escape and climbing to
rest. Significance of such locomotory behaviours has been outlined.
