Abstract
During the period April 1972 to March 1974 catfishes formed 38.85% ofthe total quantity of fishes stored in the Government cold storage plant at Blangad.
Tachysurus thalassinus was the dominant species in the landings. The chief food
items consisted of crustaceans.
