Abstract

The applicanion of the polyacrylamide gel dectrophoresis (PAGE) to
the separaHon of proteins are many. In the studies on the biochemica:l differenti'ation
of the fish spedes, PAGE is becoming the choice method because
e~tremely small qua!ntities of proteins can be separated in a fast and effident
manner. Mo:reo~ef, it is po~slible t'0 adjust the pore size of ,the gel to suit the
sepamtion of the proteins on the basLs of .their molecul,ar size
