Abstract

594 cm. loii£ Saw-fish, Pristis microdon Latham, enmeshed in the bottom
set gill nets, operated in tlw river Tapti, within about a furlong from the shore,
was landed at Surat mi 22-6-1972. The present size being the largest, some
important m(»phometric measurements and useful observations are presented.
