Abstract
Prawns should be landed deheaded to ensure maximum quality control ofthe product, especially in tropical areas, and hence, samples collected from the
landings will give only tail lengths. With a view to obtaining the total lengths
from the tail length data, linear equations for males and females of Penaeus
indicus have been worked.; out.
