Abstract

Prawns should be landed deheaded to ensure maximum quality control of
the product, especially in tropical areas, and hence, samples collected from the
landings will give only tail lengths. With a view to obtaining the total lengths
from the tail length data, linear equations for males and females of Penaeus
indicus have been worked.; out.
