Drug sensitivity studies of microflora isolated from healthy and diseased trout in Himachal Pradesh

Abstract
Out of a total of 33 samples isolated from trout, 14 were positive for a variety ofbacteria and 10 for different fungi. The drug profile of seven species of bacteria
encountered in the trout showed that gentamycin was the drug of choice. The
bacterial isolates were totally refractory to malachite green and potassium permanganate.
