Abstract
Proximate chemical composition of 15 ingredients was determined to evaluate the nutritional requirement of the compounded diet prepared for feeding the juveniles of a semi-intensive Penaeus monodon farm. Using these ingredients and six additives, three diet formulae were established maintaining the protein levels at 44.85, 41.41 and 38.61 % respectively. These three formulated diets were classified into six feed grades to facilitate the feeding efficiency of different growing sizes of the juveniles during 122 days culture period. The apparent food conversion ratio (AFCR) was found to be 1.75.Downloads
