231 / 199
Abstract
In Barilius vagra the fecundity ranged from 800 in a fish measuring 65.0 mm in total length, 1.7 g weight, 0.22 g ovary weight and 22.0 mm ovary length to 3,400 in a fish measuring 110.0 mm in total length, 7.35 g weight, 1.0 g ovary weight and 35.0 mm ovary length. The relative fecundity calculated for the fish was 288.8. to 59:3.5 with an average of 38.9. There appeared to be greater relationship between fish length and fish weight with fecundity than between ovary length and ovary weight with fecundity.Downloads
