Abstract
The relationship between total length and total weight, and between total length and tail weight in Metapenaeus dobsoni is not significantly different in males and females. The common equations for both males and females are: log total weight = -5.8318 + 3.2875 log TL; log tail weight = -5.5677 + 3.0619 log TL. The relationship between total length and carapace length is significantly different in both males and females. The equations are : Males : CL = -1.9482 + 0.2276 TL; Females : CL = -5.0255 + 0.2710 TL. The relationship between total weight and tail weight is not significantly different in males and females. The common equation for both males and females is : Tail weight = 0.0357 + 0.6702 total weight. Based on the above equation, a conversion table for commercial counts is given.Downloads
