Abstract

Seed treatment with Trichoderma harzianum and T. viride induced resistance in paddy against brown spot with substantial reduction in disease severity. The induction of resistance was associated with many biochemical changes viz. increase in soluble protein, total phenol, ascorbic acid, non-reducing sugar and K/N ratio; and decrease in reducing sugar and Fe/Mn ratio.
