Abstract
One new species of Meliola Fries. collected from West Bengal (India) viz: M. buxaduarii causing leaf spot on Asclepias sp. is described and illustrated in this paper. The type specimen has been deposited in the Herbarium, CAB, International Mycological Institute, U.K.
