Abstract

Seven fungicides and three botanicals were tested at different concentrations against sheath blight of rice on variety, Pusa Basmati-1 under field conditions. All the fungicides and botanicals were found effective. However among fungicides, Armure 30EC was found most effective @ 1.0ml/1 showing least disease incidence of 31.3 % as against 77.9% in control, while among botanicals Achook showed the least incidence of 65.1 % in comparison to 82.9% in control. Bavistin used as standard fungicide at 1000 ppm was most effective showing disease incidence of 8.4 % only.
