Abstract

Six Meliolaceae members belonging to the genera Asteridiella and Melio/a have been collected from Karnataka and Kerala states. Of these, two species belonging to the genus Asteridiella, namely, Asteridiella brahmagiriensis and A. micheliae; four species of the genus Melio/a, namely, Mellola canthiigena, M. kukkeensis, M. /uvungico/a and M. p/eurostylico/a are described and illustrated in detail.
