Abstract

High population of F. oxysporum was recorded in rhizosphere and rhizoplane of partially wilted plants as compared to that in healthy as well as in completely wilted plants. The population consisted of both pathogenic and nonpathogenic Fusarium. The nonpathogenic isolates of F. oxysporum were more in rhizosphere and rhizoplane of healthy chickpea plants.
