Abstract

The effect of fly ash from a thermal power plant on Glomus caledonium and Rhizobium sp. on the roots of Vigna mungo was investigated in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was demonstrated that mycorrhizas and root nodulating bacterium protected the plants from some of the harmful effects caused by fly ash.
